Where to fish...
   
We have a number of places to fish within the park district grounds.  
   
Lake Sule is located at the intersections of Interstates 39 & 88 with access to the park via Wiscold drive.  Lake Sule has been stocked with great game fish through the help of the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.  Lake Sule is open for ice fishing.  Please be advised that fishing is at your own risk.
   
Spring Lake is located on South 8th Street and although not officially stocked has quite a variety of fish and provides fun for all ages.
   
The Kyte River is available at a variety of our parks, the most notable one is Skare Park.
