Memorial Bench/Tree Program

The Flagg-Rochelle Community Park District offers the opportunity for groups or individuals to commemorate a special event, honor individuals or agencies, or as a memorial for a loved one. Those wishing to create a memorial will choose between a park bench of various lengths or one of 6 varieties of trees. Bronze recognition plaques will be placed with the wording of your choice. Plaques will be attached to the benches or mounted on a granite pad for the trees. Those wishing to donate a memorial will select a park and general area they would like to see the tree or bench and the exact location will be discussed with our Maintenance staff and left up to their discretion.
